Good Basic Lasagna Recipe: Tweak With Your Own Creativity!

This is a good, basic lasagna recipe that you can tweak in all sorts of ways. Add veggies, different meats, ….. go wild!

 

 

 

What You Need:

2 cups mozzarella

box of lasagna noodles (I used gluten-free)

80z. cottage cheese (I used fat-free)

1 lb of hamburger meat, or ground turkey, zucchini, mushrooms, or spinach….. ‘Afraid of Ground Turkey? Click Here.

1 Regular-Sized Jar of Ragu Marinara Sauce

1 egg

1/4 cup of parmesan cheese  (or a mixture Рsee picture)

Preheat the Oven to 375 degrees.

 

 

Sauce Mixture:

1. Brown the meat/tenderize the veggies

2. Drain

3. Add Ragu Sauce; Fill the jar with water to the point (picture) TWICE. (Shake it with the lid on to get all the sauce out!)

 

Cheese Mixture:

4. Mix Cottage Cheese, Parmesan, Mozzarella, and egg.

 

Assembly:

5. Lightly spread a layer of the Sauce Mixture on bottom of dish.

6. Afterwards, layer the lasagna in this order: “Noodles, Sauce Mixture, Cheese Mixture….. Noodles, Sauce, Cheese…..”

7. Tightly cover with aluminium foil.

8. Bake for40-45 min.  covered.

9. Bake for 10 more min. uncovered.
