Feeding Children Cheap on Vacation

Feeding Children Cheap on Vacation

Maybe I went once or twice as a kid, but Golden Corral wasn’t at the top of our Favorite Restaurant list when we were growing up.  The first time I went to one as an adult was last year – on a trip – with kids. My mouth popped open as soon as I walked in.  I felt like as a child, I had been tricked – that this is really a land flowing with chocolate and cotton candy clouds & my mother didn’t take me here, because of all these wonderful things………

Truthfully, this utopia was in the Indiana & then another was in Kentucky – - – and they are not your average Golden Corrals. Usually, I try to eat at local, hole-in-the-wall places when I travel.  However, travelling with multiple screaming, picky mouths – - – can cramp that for some folks.  I still urge you to try local stuff – but if your budget needs it, and you happen to be travelling in Kentucky, Indiana, or Illinois, this is what’s happening at the local Golden Corral.  Throw a meal or two in your vacation plans, and you’ll save some money. You might even get them to eat fresh veggies & try a few new types of food – all in one place – when there’s a chocolate fountain to hold over their heads…..

Yes, she's making cotton candy back there. Red Star Cookies on a stick for the chocolate fountain, gummie worms for whatever you want .....

Definitely, Tennessee Golden Corrals do not look the same as these Midwestern Golden Corrals.
